Radiosophy MultiStream HD receiver about half that of tabletop competitors

Sioux City, SD—July 27, 2005 — Radiosophy™ announced
new retail pricing for the award-winning MultiStream™ HD
receiver.
“Our
manufacturing costs have increased but we will be the HD Radio™ price
leader,” stated Radiosophy President/CEO Richard Skeie. “Despite
the small price increase, at $269 the MultiStream HD is still
about half the price of the other tabletop HD Radio receivers.”
The
new retail pricing is effective today. Radiosophy will continue
taking pre-orders for the MultiStream HD, which is expected
to begin shipping in September. Radiosophy will honor all previous
sale prices on orders placed prior to this press release.
A “Pick
Hit Award” winner at the National Association of Broadcasters
Convention (NAB) in Las Vegas, the MultiStream HD also offers
unparalleled versatility. The receiver can be removed from
the speaker base and connected to a home stereo, car stereo,
boat, RV or computer.
The
MultiStream HD will receive AM, AM Digital, FM, FM Stereo,
FM Digital, any number of multiple streams and new data services.
The recent addition of a USB port allows the MultiStream HD
to be easily updated. This inbound-only service port eliminates
the need to return the unit to the manufacturer for software
updates. Instead, customers will be able to download any updates
directly from the Internet, thereby extending the useful life
of the radio.
