Radiosophy Adds USB Port to MultiStream HD

North Sioux City, South Dakota, June 30, 2005 -- Radiosophy™ announced a significant enhancement to its award-winning MultiStream™ HD Radio™ receiver with the introduction of a universal serial bus (USB) upgrade port.

This inbound-only service port will eliminate the need to return the unit to the manufacturer for software updates. Instead, the receiver can be updated via the Internet using a computer.

"We’re capitalizing on the fact that the MultiStream HD is a computer with an operating system and a programmable display. We wanted to make sure our customers wouldn't have an obsolete radio because of a software change," stated Richard Skeie, President and CEO of Radiosophy. "Now we're affordable, transportable, and updateable. This could extend the useful life of a MultiStream HD by years."

Some broadcasters plan to make use of the USB port to program the receivers preset buttons including the popular Home Station Preset™ button. (This is an oversized preset button designed to receive raised-dome decals with a stations logo.)

Units will begin shipping in August at a price of $259.00. Radiosophy is currently taking pre-orders from individual and volume purchasers.

Radiosophy is a privately held company with operations in South Dakota. For more information, please visit www.radiosophy.com or call 605.217.4100.
